Widely regarded as one of the finest day ticket fisheries in the country, Bury Hill Fisheries is part of a beautiful 200-year-old estate, which lies at the foot of the Surrey Hills yet just 20 miles from central London. Four lakes totaling 22 acres offer the very best sport, whether you are looking for 40 lb Carp, 30 lb Pike, double-figure Zander or 100 lb nets of quality Tench and Bream. Facilities are first class with ample car parking, flat banks, gravelled paths, large purpose built swims, lakeside café, on-site tackle shop and clean heated toilets with disabled access. We even offer boat fishing from 8 large flat bottom punts. Old Bury Hill Lake is a 12.5 acre estate lake with a wooded island and prolific beds of lilies and irises. A traditional mixed fishery, carp top 35lb with doubles and twenties commonplace, plus quality Tench, Bream, Crucians, Roach, Rudd, Perch, Pike and Zander. A specimen angler’s paradise, pleasure bags run to over 250lb whilst tench and bream topping 10lb are recorded every year. Currently the lake’s best Zander stands at over 16lb – so watch out the British Record! The two lakes in the lower valley are Milton and Bonds. Milton at 30 pegs boasts a huge head of Crucians, Tench, Roach, Golden Rudd and Perch as well as good numbers of small Carp, producing pleasure nets to 250lb and 100lb match hauls. Bonds at 20 pegs, is home to thousands of hungry Carp to 10lb and nets to 300lb plus are regularly reported by pleasure and match anglers alike!
